What a nice surprise it was last week to find out
that I had been nominated for a teacher award
from the ECCLA by one of my former colleagues
and parent! On Thursday we were invited to a really
nice reception at the Natural History Museum.

My colleague and friend Jairo was also nominated!
He is our chapter chair and an excellent, young, teacher
leader who is working on his administrative credential.
He also dressed up as Zero the Hero for my class!
