Hot Potato, Hot Potato...

We got great seats to the Wiggles Concert!
More interested in red liquorice than the show!
Anthony and the other Wiggles still got it!
Ally after the show... see the kid in the white
shirt being carried? That's Gwen Stefani's kid!
Smile!
Shaved ice...
and chili cheese fries after the show!

A Day With Sister!

After a very stressful week with court hearings and out of town visitations for Bryce (more later on that), I was sooo happy to spend some time with my god daughter Julia! She just completed her first year at Colby in Maine. (Her big bro' Josh, just graduated from Harvard Law School in May!)

Can I just say, that I have the most wonderful and lovely god daughter! I have known her from the time she was in her mom's tummy (I heard her heartbeat when she was in the womb!) And now she is all grown up, wise, and mature beyond her years. It was so refreshing to have her spend time with me and the boys. She took Daniel on a date to Harry Potter (his 3rd time) and gave Bryce and me some quiet time alone.

Bonding with Sister!

Feeling a little ambitious, so we went to Hollywood
on the Metro Gold and Red Line with 2 boys!
The train arrives!
Bryce gets his first Build a Bear!
Teddy, who says: "Hi Bryce!-mom Hi Bryce!-Sister
Hi Bryce! -Daniel, and We Love You!-all"
Hug!
Look who fell in love with Sister too!

Disneyland and Old Friends

The girls took their second visit to Disneyland with Uncle Wayne and Aunt Vickie. Their third trip was to California Adventure... from Noon to 9:00pm! Poor PoPo was a trouper! There are no pictures from that trip because my camera broke the night before while some amateur videographers were creating movies and dropped it a few times! This picture was from the Disney people and Miki decided it was worth it to pay the $ to get it.
The following week, we drove back to Anaheim to have dinner and a swim with my oldest and dearest friend Susan and her family! They were staying at a hotel near the park for 4 days. Daniel hung out with 4 year old Sophie.

Harry Potter Weekend!

Harry Potter #6 came out this weekend. Daniel saw it twice within 72 hours. We were having the girls watch HP 1-5 before the 6th one was released so they would be caught up with the saga.

Self Portrait by Ally at Applebees.
Tickets to the show! We went with Aunt Vickie
and it wasn't even crowded on Saturday morning!
Smile Daniel!

Ms. McGuire, Daniel's buddy, took him to the movie on the second day
it was released and then treated us to Johnny Rockets!
She's cool!

A Visit with Uncle Fred!

Hot San Diego day with Uncle Fred and Aunt Karen!

66 CENT FLOATS!

Our neighborhood restaurant Two-Heys (2 -ees!) has a 66 cent float special for the entire month of July! Can you guess where we will be going in July?

Bryce takes a chug!
A boy and his float!
Who cares about floats when there is red velvet cake!
Ally tried a cherry coke float, while Miki opted for
a oreo cookie malt instead!

DISNEY AT NIGHT

So the girls are with us and they wanted to go to Disneyland. We bought the 4 play passes for them and mom. This first night we did the 6:00pm to midnight shift! They boys and I have season passes, so they are ready to go anytime!

A picture in the Haunted Mansion before we were told no flash pictures!
On the Haunted House ride!
A visit to Disneyland would not be complete without a turkey leg for dinner!

Future drivers display their Autopia drivers' licenses!
Why isn't this toddler asleep???
Daniel takes the wheel!

REACTION FROM A TODDLER WHEN IT'S TIME TO GO...

Night swim at the Rose Bowl Aquatic Center!

We took Bryce on his first "swim" at the Rose Bowl Aquatics. That is where Daniel learned to swim, but refuses to take lessons anymore now because he doesn't like to lap swim! I am going to sign up Bryce when he turns 3 (hopefully, he will be celebrating with us when he is three, hope, hope). He loves the water, just not sure if he would sit and listen to an instructor!

BRYCE WATCHING POPO DO HER CHINESE THING

There's nothing more fascinating to a toddler than
watching a 75 year old woman burning paper in the
backyard in a bucket while lighting incense too.

ANOTHER CAKE FOR POPO...

PoPo had three birthdays this year. There were two months of May in the Chinese Lunar calendar, so she had two Chinese and one American birthdays this year for her 75th... and of course there is cake!
