Tonight I finally checked the
MySpace page I set up last year after Kathleen told me she found lost classmates from my class over 14 years ago on
MySpace. Guess what? A student from my very first year of teaching left a message for me! He is 30 years old now and a UCLA graduate. Wow! How cool is that? I remember taking him and his sister to the zoo and he still has a picture of it. It's great to hear from former students, it really is!
A few more fun tidbits:
If you go to Costco and look on the cover of the new BrainQuest Workbooks (PK-edition) you may get a surprise!
My New Teacher Hints will be published in 2 installments this week and next on Teacher Magazine online. Thanks to all those that contributed! My nieces helped me edit it!

Daniel was in bed by 9:00pm!

Ok, you and are are complete opposites on this... Although I have myspace and now facebook, I've tried my best NOT to get found by kids... Although I would like to see some of my "old" kids... I guess that's the difference in working with 5year old versus 13 year olds.

Nope. Still won't do myspace. Just tell me about the Brainquest. I love brainquest and played it every Friday with my kids.
