The 4th of July in Alhambra always makes me nervous. Fireworks are allowed in the city as long as they are not airborne. Funny, I can see fireworks shooting in the sky from the living room window right now... and Lucy and Katy are not big fans of loud noises and big bangs!

Sparklers are so much fun! Philip's nieces and nephews had a lot of fun playing with them in the backyard. I'm so dumb. I brought my camera and didn't take a single shot of the 4th of July. I was too busy eating or playing rock band. And I ate a LOT! I better control myself the rest of this week - problem. There's a quart of cookies and cream ice cream in the freezer, and until it's gone, I'll be eating it. I have no self control. That's why junk food is not allowed in the house.

Oh! By the way, we've been looking at houses in Alhambra again. That or West Covina. I prefer Alhambra. We don't mind fixing it up a bit either.

We waited in a really long line in New York to get discounted broadway show tickets for the afternoon and when we got to the window, they only had 1 ticket, 1 ticket!!! for Mamma Mia. I definitely want to go watch it with you when it comes out. We were only in New York for a couple of hours, so it was only one show for us. Next time I go back, I'm going to watch a fun one like Hairspray since I still haven't seen it. What kinda musical gal am I? I need to hang out with you and Daniel when I visit New York so I can be the third wheel and tagalong. Oh I got something for Daniel in New York.
