There was a heat wave in September. A really, really hot one! We had tickets to the Dodger game on September 16th, but it was a day game and we decided to not go. But when my friend Christine called and said she had really great field box tickets... well, what could I do?! Daniel said no, he'd rather go swimming with his big bro Joseph, but Bryce said yes. We took Romy and invited my friend Jen (a huge Cardinal fan) from the CSC to go. It WAS HOT! And unfortunately the game that pretty much shut the door on the season for my boys in blue. Nevertheless... great seats does have it's benefits!

The only player to brave the heat for pre-game warm ups was Skip Schumaker from the Cardinals,
but a southern Ca native. He signed Bryce's ball and took a picture with Bryce. Nice guy.
