A Day at the Museums

It was a beautiful afternoon to explore Exposition Park and it's museums. It was also Educator's Open House, but we got there late so we took our own tour. First stop CAAM's (California African American Museum). They didn't allow pictures inside.

We ran into our favorite CA Science Center buddies Jen (she's leaving for Stanford-boo hoo!) and Nor!
This was Bryce's favorite picture. He really liked it and wanted to see it again and again.
Doesn't Daniel look like such a teen here! Ugh! Not ready, already happening!
Of course Bryce wanted his own solo picture as well.
The chicks were finally back at the World of Life!
Exploring gravity in the Discovery Room.
Fishing for puzzle pieces! That's USC in the background.
Ice cream break near the Rose Garden.
One of my favorite pictures of the day!
Daniel with a possum.
He was just made to pick up one (dead) and throw it away last week.
I don't do things like that, so it was nice of him to help out.
Don't let this deceive you.
They were fighting before and after this picture!
Bryce was too tired and I didn't want to carry him so Daniel offered to.
New, cool, dinosaur hall!
Our very own dinosaur!
Then we finished the evening off at Jaycob's 1st birthday party...
complete with a petting farm and pony rides!

What a day you had! And THEN Jaycob's party? Wow, you super mom. I love Daniel's solo pic. He and AJ confessed that they were both going through puberty. I didn't know how to respond! I was like, "Um. Okay. That's good. You don't want to be young boys forever, you know." Haha! I can't wait to see the new Dinosaur exhibit at NHM. =) Yay!
